A woman’s organism is a well-coordinated and precisely thought-out system of nature, with the absolute interrelation of the majority of the function and the systems providing them. If the function is not up-to-date, it is “switched off” from the body by certain mechanisms. When the childbearing function of a woman’s body loses its relevance, at the age of forty-five years the woman approaches a permenopause – the state of the organism preceding the menopause.
Metrorrhagia in premenopause (uterine bleeding) is usually acyclic in nature and may indicate the presence of polyps in the uterine cavity. Most often, metrorrhagia occurs after a long delay in the menstrual cycle and is characterized by prolonged and profuse bleeding lasting more than seven days, and often not stopping without medical intervention. Because bleeding in menopause can mean not only a deviation in the mucous membrane of the genitals, and violations of the ovulatory function, followed by anovulation, but various pathologies of the uterus body, endometrium worsening in the pre-menopausal period, it is important to consult a doctor at the first signs of bleeding.
Endometrium in the pre-menopause changes its structure under the influence of a changing hormonal background, and three main types (stages) of the modified endometrium are divided: the polyp of the uterus (tumor-like formation of the endometrium); glandular hyperplasia (changes in the structure of the endomntral glands); adenomatous dysplasia is characterized by a structural rearrangement of the glands, accompanied by the proliferation of tissues, as a consequence of cell division, which creates the risk of transformation into cancer pathology.
To diagnose premenopause, it is enough to collect a detailed oral history of the patient and, if age is appropriate, talk about joining premenopausal. However, since the accompanying conditions, expressed in violations of the functions of different organs, give the woman a lot of trouble, and periodically arising bleeding can indicate a variety of pathologies, gynecologists suggest a woman to undergo a series of studies to get a complete picture of what is happening in the body. Among informative studies called ultrasound of the pelvic organs, breast examination with mammography, colposcopy – examination of the cervix, as well as the identification of hormonal background.
Based on the results of tests and studies, as well as the premenopausal symptom present, a woman is prescribed treatment. Treatment of premenopausal is medically performed with hormonal replacement therapy, as well as the prescription of drugs compensating for violations of the functions of the female body. For example, if the bloody discharge in premenopausal is plentiful, hemostatic medicines can be prescribed, with a tendency to depression and irritability – sedatives or antidepressants are prescribed, sleeping or soothing drugs are used to improve sleep. In this case, the main therapy of premenopause is carried out with preparations containing estrogens and progesterone.
The treatment of premenopause in Israel is medicated with the use of the latest generation of drugs, as well as with the use of alternative hormone therapy products – medicines developed on the basis of phytoestrogens – plant components performing a function similar to estrogens, show remarkable results, returning to a healthy life a lot of women without having with side effects that may be inherent in some hormonal medications.
