This leads to increased irritation of the eyes, and, in addition, we can infect them with some bacteria. Another quick way is to lubricate the area around the eyes with a gel with an extract of the eye – it’s worth having it in your medicine cabinet if the eyes get tired too often.

Everyone, as a rule, knows that it is useful to put a compress from tea on tired eyes. It is best and most convenient to use tea in paper bags, which does not contain any fruit additives or flavorings. After making tea, simply pull out the sachets and make compresses from them. You can use both black tea and green, which has a very useful anti-inflammatory and cleansing effect. Tea in bags can also be cooled in the refrigerator. You can also prepare a compress of herbs (for example, chamomile or calendula). Very effective is a pack of cucumber slices, warm milk or cold, grated potatoes.
When the eyes are too dry
Too dry a cornea causes a feeling of discomfort, and after a while a dangerous dry eye syndrome may develop. If the eyes are not moist enough, they are easily prone to irritation and become vulnerable to various infections. To counter this, first of all, it is necessary to drink plenty of water. If this is not enough, you need appropriate eye drops that will moisturize the mucous membrane of the eye. It is a very strong antioxidant and prevents the degeneration of the macula and even can stop blindness. To provide the body with lutein, you do not need to take supplements – often enough berries, yellow and green vegetables (spinach, chopped parsley, paprika, Italian cabbage, corn, cauliflower or broccoli) and eggs (lutein is contained in the egg yolk).
